Privacy policy
Effective October 26, 2026 · notAnImage, Inc.
This page explains what information notAnImage, Inc. (“we”) collects on notanimage.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain words. If anything is unclear, write to us.
The short version
We collect what you type in our contact form, and basic visit information that our website host records.
We use it to answer you and, if you join the waitlist, to write to you about OHLO.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use the form on our Contact page, we receive the topic you choose, your first and last name, your email address, and your message, if you write one. Please don’t send health details or other sensitive information through the form.
What our website records. Our website runs on Squarespace. When you visit, Squarespace automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the website that sent you. It uses a few cookies to keep the site working and secure, and to count visits. We see this as visit statistics.
What we don’t use. We don’t use Google Analytics, advertising networks or social-media tracking pixels on this website.
How we use it
To answer your message.
To keep you on the OHLO waitlist and write to you about OHLO: news, events, and when it is ready. Each email will include a way to stop receiving them.
To understand how our website is used, and to keep it secure.
We don’t use your information for anything else. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Who helps us
We share your information with the companies that run our website and email for us:
Squarespace hosts our website. It stores the forms you send and emails them to us.
Google Workspace delivers and stores our email.
Each of them handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or if notAnImage merges with or is bought by another company. In that case, this policy still applies to the information you gave us.
How long we keep it
We keep your message and contact details while we need them to answer you, or while you are on the waitlist. If you ask us to delete them, or you leave the waitlist, we delete them within 30 days. Squarespace keeps visit statistics under its own rules.
Your choices
See, correct or delete your information: write to privacy@notanimage.com. We reply within 30 days.
Leave the waitlist: reply “unsubscribe” to any of our emails, or write to us.
Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, our contact form may not work.
These choices are open to everyone, wherever you live.
“Do Not Track” signals
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our website does not currently respond to it. We don’t track you across other websites, and no advertising network or social-media company collects information about you on our site. Squarespace, our host, records the basic visit information described above.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit who on our team can read your messages. No website is perfectly secure, so please share only what we need to answer you.
The OHLO device
OHLO is not on sale yet. This policy covers this website and our waitlist. Before OHLO reaches its first homes, we will publish a full privacy notice for the device. Here are our design commitments for the OHLO families will have at home:
What its cameras see will stay inside OHLO, except during a video call, or when you ask OHLO to look at something, like a letter or a medicine box. Then a picture may go to a cloud AI to help.
Voice will go to the cloud AI only while someone is talking with Claire.
You will be able to turn the cameras off.
The glass will turn opaque when OHLO is not in use.
The faces and voices OHLO learns to recognize will stay on OHLO, and you can delete them.
These are design commitments for OHLO at home, not a description of our early prototypes.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will also email the people on our waitlist before it takes effect.
